Wooowa....such deep gratitude to everyone who purchased all my Garden Mist hydrosol this weekend. I sold every bottle I had. I wasnt expecting to move all my stock so quickly and will be ordering more bottles and labels to get this back online. Thank you to everyone who paid me for the purchases they took off of my table. And those who didnt, I wish for you to be blessed with so much that you can also share your hard work with people who dont ask you for it. ... Every purchase you make with me helps me pay for my spring seed orders that I've already placed. And I appreciate every single one of them. There are still items available in the online store for holiday gift giving. So please feel free to shop the farmshare. Www.silversageflora.wixsite.com/mysite

Little Silver Sage update over here.... Brooms! Yes I will have brooms coming. However, broomcorn is hard to source in Canada. Hence the very few artisans that undertake this craft. Buuutttt, you know me, I always find what I want. I have broomcorn on order and when I receive it, you'll be the first to know.... In the meantime, Ive begun working with some local pine I gathered this spring. The sweet vanilla scent of this pine will make some very sacred alter brooms. Im waiting on cord to make a few more of these for the farmshare store. So stay posted because ill be dropping a few of these whisk babes very soon. I do have berry and flower baskets, made to order , in the farmshare. So if you're looking for something very hand crafted this holiday for grand babies or your foraging little folk, Ill be soaking up some wild basket material this weekend to start on baskets. Thank you so much for all your local support beauties.

Our webstore (farmshare) is now live and updated for the holidays. I worked really hard to create gifts that can go out in the mail. Check out our Farm Products section!! And gifts that are for Local Pick up and delivery only. Because there was so much work to do to learn this webstore Ive not had time to craft much. So a few things are listed as "made to order" and will be created for you as you order them. Please note that our Wreath Workshops Diy are not yet available. I...m working with an extremely slow internet provider to try and load our video tutorials for this class. So I havent put the class on sale yet. I need to be sure I can load my video. I am hopeful to have these kits available by weeks end. The website itself is receiving a make over as well and not all pages are finished yet . But there is just one of me and I am working on EVERYTHING! Our December subscriptions are live. You can order one for you and one for a friend. This makes a really beautiful gift. Custom wreaths are available for pre-order as well. In the next few weeks my florist stock will be arriving for the holidays and Ill be turning out wreaths and holiday beauty. Since my florist stock has to be pre ordered. I can not offer you arrangement or holiday decor on the fly. Please check out our offerings and order ahead to avoid dissapointment. I do have limited supply of fresh items. Thank you so much for all your support. Please let me know of you have questions or have any trouble using the website. Happy Shopping!!

Our farm share online shop is almost ready to open for the Holidays!! Yay . All this goodness and more is about to be live online. I'm just trying to work out my shipping in the store. Building an online shop is not my forte. Not in the least. So if I can just make it function I'll be golden! . What's gonna be in store?? Eek!! Our PRE-order December Subscription will be on sale! Our custom wreaths will be available for order, potted amaryllis presale, our brand new aromathera...py farm products, our dried lavender and so much more. . Am I ready? Nope. But I'm hoping y'all don't order at once. I'm using the free version of an ecommerce platform. So a few things are unavailable to me... Like stock availability!! So I have to literally watch the website to make sure I don't over sell a product! Gah. . The new website make-over that's in progress will be published and the webshop will be live on Nov. 1st. Watch this space for more info to come. I'm so nervous. And excited. See more

Cedar has become a part of my bloodstream. Through all the seasons Cedar has been there for me. The great cedars that are positioned on this land stand in communal gatherings as if they had been in ceremony when their roots plunged deep into the earth that day that they were summoned to be the wisdom keepers and life givers. Their roots are deep. Their life force can be felt long before you actually can see them. And they're gracious giving hearts are a model for all people. .... Today I asked to break open cedar and separate him from his body. I asked for his magic. I asked for his majesty, his lion heart, his wisdom, condensed into a bottle. He laughed at first. 'A bottled cedar heart you say?' He knows me well. He guards the southern gate to the land. He's always allowed me to harvest from his low hanging fruits and in return, I planted a garden at his feet. This year sweatpeas, one of my favorites, I tucked just beneath him. He watched over them with a touch of shade and delighted in their fragrance. A sweet offering for his kindness to me. . He blessed me as always with whatever I should need. But I only take a little. His brothers along the south path are just as old as him, and they too offered their essence. With the three of them I had what I needed. Anything left over would go into incense. Nothing is ever wasted. . It was cold today and it half rained and half snowed all day. I set up the still just under the Stonehouse eve and checked it every ten minutes to drain of the hydrosol and collect the oil. But twice I left the spiget open while I emptied the overflow bucket and the oil slipped into the jug. . Sometimes you win, and sometimes you mix oil and water. . The hydrosol I distilled today will be blended with other garden essence to become a Floral Water Garden, in a bottle. A garden that you get to experience everytime you mist it. The magic I grow here on this mountain will be gifted and shared into the world. See more

It feels like the right season to learn a new Kraft. Broom making is such a methodical and mesmerizing process. I loved making these brooms with @hearthcraftbrooms. . It's frost season friends. It's time to sit and do slow work. Today I spent a lot of time just sitting and watching leaves fall. Weaving plants into baskets and tying a new broom. It's my favorite season. When I get to take time for me. Time to fill my own cup back up after a long hard summer. Time to sit in fro...nt of the fire and listen to the crackle of wood drying and burning becoming heat. And time to reflect. Dust out the cob webs in the auto pilot cockpit and take the wheel of life again. . It's time to dream. Watch snowflakes fall and frost dance across the greenhouse window. Read my book list. And be still in my cottage on the mountain. . It's quiet time. And I'm so ready for the change of pace. What are you doing this fall day? Is the warm cottage fore calling you to sit for tea? Weave a basket or tie a broom? See more

The lavenders second cuts this year was a bit of a tease. So I decided to congragate the last cut with the pruning and dry out the harvest. . In the past I've made these into smudge wands but, I've felt like this is not the magic I am to create this year. . Instead I will go back to an old loved tradition of aromatherapy and smudging by creating my own incense. I haven't made Kapet pearls in such a long time. And I actually had a dream about them. So I know you're going to l...ove them. . This form of incense making is a recipe and tradition I learnt from another witch many moons ago. She taught me how to use the original Kapet incence recipe from times of ancient when incense were burned in the temples to appease the gods. . Traditionally this recipe was made over the course of several days, starting with the new Moon. All the Ingredients would be ground by hand one day at a time and added to the recipe. This gave the ingredients time to synergize. During the days before the recipe was started. A fermented resin was created to steep until the dry and wet ingredients were ready to mix together. Then, once made, the incense would be cured for the duration of one moon cycle. Then it was ready to offer. . Over the years I've created my own recipes.... Well.... Not really recipes... I never create the same thing twice. I've learnt to mix and steep and wait for my incense to come into their fullness before curing them to offer. I've learnt to use local materials that I can wild harvest respectfully. And I've learnt to follow my Intuition when working with the plants in this sacred dance. I really enjoy the process. . Hoping this batch is ready for Christmas. So you can all use them for the equinox and to bring in the new year. . I'll be working with this beautiful lavender, pine, juniper and cedar. I can't wait to smell them. See more

Everyday I think, this could be the last day of fall. And everyday we get just one more. . Gawd this weather has been incredible. It's been so lovely I forgot to tell you about my exciting news. I've just been working my ass off with my head down. Harvesting, gathering, clearing and preparing!! . I'm getting there tho. The grounds are all prepared for the last two fall shipments that I am anxiously awaiting. 75 peonies dropping in sometime next week!! 35 of them Itohs and th...e rest are part of my very own luxe Silver Sage collection. . But that's not all the exciting news I wanted to share. . Guess what??! Silver Sage have been given an opportunity to grow on land just down the valley! Yes yes, another plot filled with flowers and a crop I can't wait to grow, pumpkins. Oh my!!! This is a game changer for us bc it will allow us a chance to cover crop our field after our spring harvest while we can grow on in a fall crop that is a little warmer than we are!! . Im so thrilled to plan another field for Silver Sage Flora to fill the homes of our loyal flower lovers far and wide and right here at home. . Three years ago when I first started this flower farm, I never imagined we would be filling our boots with so much goodness. I feel like I'm finally moving forward. I'm honing my flower list, zeroing in on product we can offer, preparing a retail space and now, expanding into pumpkins! I freakin love pumpkins. . I can't believe how fast we're growing. It's so surreal. My next thought, and Urs too I'm sure... Is the demand there for more flowers? Here's what I know, demand does not just appear. A good business can create it. Here's what I believe. A field to grow in doesn't walk into your life for no good reason. Here's what you can expect. My hard work and dedication to provide beautiful, unique, quality blooms from mothers day to thanksgiving. There's no doubt in my mind I'm moving this baby forward. . Stay with me friends. I want you to be a part of our story. See more

The very last fall clean up process will be pulling out the formal gardens. . It's painful. And I leave it to last. The gardens are stretching out now and feeling very comfortable in their skin. I found myself passed out in this chair with the sweet peas yesterday. I've been working daily to get the spring flowers into the ground and the fall ones out. But that afternoon sun always beckons me to sit and enjoy the moment. Which ultimately leads to falling asleep in the garden.... . I always take the time to listen and sleep in the garden if that's what I need, which obviously... I did. . All we can do is what we can do. Make time for rest. See more

First of a series of flower and berry baskets for little people. . Working with natural material is challenging. It takes patience. And iv just not had that kind of focus the last few weeks. So baby baskets are gonna have to wait until the time strikes me. . When you're an artist, You can't force the creation process. It's either there or it isnt. And right now. I'm just not feeling it.... . If we are forced to create, the finished work is squewed with ill intentions and negative energy. No one wants that. . The best work is created while going with the natural flow. And I'm all about synergy. . Trust me, it's always worth the wait. See more

Fall is my favorite. I feel like alot of you can relate. I've been rocking my wool all summer minus two weeks in August when it was really hot. But I never really put it away this year. . Sweater weather all 2020 it felt like. But I did manage to grow some huge zucchini and even red tomotoes that ripened on the vine. Fist time this year. . The dahlias I planted for me are still hanging on and budding up. They may actually bloom this year if the frost holds off.... . Gathering more seed and more flowers for drying. Had to move my operation inside bc the outdoor drying rack has become too cool and damp and flowers aren't drying outside anymore. . This week I'll be soaking back some plant materials to get started on some berry baskets and flower foraging baskets for little people. I had a granmom ask me this week about making berry baskets for her grandbabies. And I thought this would be a great idea to make for fall. Today my son and I gathered a few blooms for the press and we could've used a small basket!! . I'm gearing up to offer a fall shopping experience before the world closes for winter. Stay tuned for some updates coming soon. . Stay pumpkin my autumn beasts. Enjoy the dying. See more

This photo is a little out of character for my feed. But don't worry I haven't been hacked. Just a part of the farm you don't usually get to see. . This is my man doing what he loves in his side of the farm. This guy loves me, no strings attached. Until I met him, I never knew what that looked like. . One time, I hit his C10 with my car trying to park. When I called him to tell him what I'd done, the first thing he said to me was.... "Are you ok?" that's when I knew he'd alwa...ys put me first. . I have huge respect for this man. In the ten years we've been paired together I've watched him run a very successful business then sell it all to run away to the mountains with me. Together we've carved out a life here, changed our pace and found a balance only nature can bring. . This man is the sole investor in my flower farm and is the only reason I was able to get it off the ground the first two years. His hard work and dedication to myself and his son, enabled the farm to be born and flourish. And I am grateful for his sacrafice. . Six years ago, when our little baby boy was born, he was diagnosed with MS. Something we never expected and something I never signed up for. The acknowledgement of this reality ultimately changed the way we decided to live our lives. And respectfully brought us to Three Forks. . I have never talked openly about MS or the effects it has on me, my choices, my family and my farm. I never wanted her to get any spot light or acknowledgement. However, my views on this illness have changed. And I've come to accept MS for the doors she closed and the ones she opened that has enabled me to live in this dream world. . Eventually tho, some good things, do change. And the future holds some challenges for us. I'm not sure what that will look like or how it will work. But I'll take it as it comes. . Thank you to this guy for doing what he does. And for all of you for supporting us. Welcome to our story. Thank you for being here. See more

It's official. Fall is falling. The wood pile is stocked and the very last of what's not being saved for seed is giving me one last arrangement to enjoy while it rains. . Tomorrow I'm working on the farm to get beds set for spring planting and continuing cleaning up beds for fall. Rain or shine farmers do it all the time.. .
