I just wanted to say thank you to the Kleimaker & Gaudet clan, for sending me updates and pictures of their bubbles, continuing their weekly training from home. I would also like to give a shout-out to Nathan & Natalya for reaching out to me, to figure out what techniques they should be working on, for their next ranks. Your dedication to your training and self discipline is inspirational to us all! All Simcoe County Martial Arts members are expected to maintain a certai...n level of fitness, during this second lock down. At the very least students should be continuing with their flexibility training at home. Please feel free to reference our Facebook videos, we posted from the first lock down. All the techniques are there for you to reference. Get outside! Go for walks! Stay active! Stay positive! We will resume our training eventually! Now with that being said, we are just about to get out for our daily 5km hike. Looking forward to seeing you all very soon. Sensei Shawn

Seasons Greetings Students & Parents! 3 Items... 1st... I have a new phone & SIM card... If everyone could please text me first & last names, so I can update my contacts, that would be much appreciated. 2nd... some good news to pass along, the OJA has extended everyone’s memberships for 2021. And last but not least, I just wanted to wish all of our extended Dojo family, a very Merry Christmas and good health & wellness this New Year!!!

Hello everyone! I do hope you are all keeping well. I just wanted to reach out and let you all know, how much I miss training with all of you! I very much look forward to when we can roll again! In regards to our next registration, we are putting everything on pause for now. I will not be accepting any membership registrations for the time being. I will not be cashing anyones checks going forward And if you were already registered for december january and february, you have my word, you will all be credited for those months in full. To look at the bright side of things, I believe we have to go through red, to get back to green, so I would say...the good news is, we are half way there! Keep up with your training at home we will get back to rolling soon! Sensei

Attention Students and Parents, Simcoe County has just announced, we are moving to an orange zone. As I discussed with most of you, our plan is to close the dojo, until our region returns to the yellow zone. As promised, I will not be cashing anyones checks for December. If you have paid for December already, you will be credited for our next registration. I thank you all for your patience and your continued support for our dojo. Tonight’s 7pm teen/adult class is fully booked. If anyone was unable to get in for tonight’s training, I can pre-book you for Tuesday nights class to guarantee you a spot for Tuesday. My apologies if you got bumped tonight. Thank you for your understanding while we work with these provincial restrictions.

Attention Students and Parents. Going forward, in order to comply with current health regulations and to avoid students being denied entry at the door, students must now book their spots in class, the day of. This is the same booking procedure we have implemented for our adult group and it works great. Since we can only allow nine students entry to the dojo per class, the first nine students to text me, on the day of, will be booked for class. Example: Hi, is there room for Timmy in the 5:00 class ? I will then confirm the first 9 students who book for that day. If the 5:00 class fills up, I can then book for the 6:00 class. This will help us avoid parents driving all the way out to the dojo, to find out the class is full. Thanks for your cooperation.
