THE FACE BEHIND THE MASK Meet Lisa When Lisa entered the workforce after college, she spent many years working in a home that supported men with mental illness as well as providing care for adults with physical disabilities. After deciding that a career change was needed, she went back to school for dental assisting. Lisa has been with us for 15 years. The first 5 1/2 years were spent assisting Dr. Shahshahani (Dr. Nateghi's mom) until she retired and has been working alongsi...de Dr. Nateghi ever since (almost 10 years). Being a Registered Nurse for 34 years, she has the experience and compassion to put the most anxious patient at ease. Chris works in the ER & ICU at the Hamilton General Hospital and has lead a Critical Care Rapid Response team for last 14 years. For 10 years, she also worked as a Critical Care Flig...ht nurse. You may remember Rachel from when she was a high school co-op student with us a few years ago. She was such a great student, we hired her to help us out in the summer as well. Her passion for dentistry led her to Niagara College, where she graduated from the Dental Hygiene program. She has now successfully completed her board exam and is looking forward to working as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the near future. Congratulations Rachel! We are so proud of you and your accomplishments!

She spent a year of college training to become a Paramedic before making the switch into Dental Hygiene. What started out as a maternity leave position with our office almost 4 years ago, we were happy to be able to offer her a permanent position and she has been with us ever since! THE FACE BEHIND THE MASK Meet Kristy Kristy initially joined our office 14 years ago, to cover a maternity leave as Dr. Fard's assistant and ended up staying for 2 years. She then decided to make a drastic career change, and for 11 years she helped to operate a successful landscaping and snow removal business. We have been fortunate to have her back with us since she decided to return to dentistry a year and a half ago.
