Who doesn't like a good story about steam locomotives and the people who built and serviced them for over one hundred years. My friend Dean Robinson's new histo...ry of the railway hub in Stratford, Ontario is a fascinating look at the scale and ambition of small town from 1856 - 1964. Watch the documentary then buy the book. It's a great summer read. See more

With Jennifer Honeybourn (Wesley James Ruined My Life) and Taslim Burkowicz (Chocolate Cherry Chai) at the Ocean Park Library’s ‘Authors Among Us’ reading and panel discussion with a packed room filled with book geeks. So much fun!

I'll be at the Ocean Park Library, Surrey, BC on March 12th at 6:30 - 8:30pm. My writer colleagues Jennifer Honeybourn and Taslim Burkowwicz and I will each give readings from our books followed by Q & A. It'll be like a micro book fair with books available for signing and chats about writing and publishing.

A short and sweet trip to Vancouver for LiterAsian 2017. Read books. Attended events. Met friends. I was so absorbed that I only took few pictures. But trust me, it was fun.
