Just a writer reporting to work in uncertain times // Like many of you, I don't know what to post. Let's be real -- Travel Instagram is a weird place right now. While plenty of travel focused accounts are providing thoughtful, informative content in the wake of the pandemic (@hey_ciara, @hownottotravellikeabasicbitch @thejesstination @twodustytravelers @sunandstilettos @patricejwills are all great follows!), my feed is still flooded with elaborate photos with vague inspiratio...nal captions (and yes, this includes content from some of my favourite hotel chains!) and it feels very...jarring. I know we're all just trying to get through this the best we can, but GURL I KNOW YOU'RE NOT IN A BALLGOWN ON A HOT AIR BALOON IN MOROCCO RIGHT NOW. I don't want to add to that noise, but at the same time I'm trying to find joy, hope & connection where I can. So, I'm going to keep sharing photos + my daily thoughts. I have about a month or two of travel content in the hopper and then we'll see what happens after that. If you don't want to see photos of me in a bathing suit, feel free to mute. In the mean time, stay inside and stay safe. If you need someone to talk to, DM me See more
