It’s the 31st of December. Obviously going through the all the memories in my phone. . And when I came across this pic, it said 2020 to me? Here’s why. . 2020 was twisted, it had us tied down and stuck, it’s grip on our lives was strong and unshaken. But at the same time it has been a true opener. It has forced us to evolve our perception of life, look beyond our limitations, adapt and morph into a more resilient being. ... . We faced a collective threat. No one was immune to it, a greater reminder that we are all the same! . We were forced to slow down and spend time with those who matter the most... and in many cases that meant self. . Injustices, that were a few people’s fight, was now in everyone’s faces and couldn’t be unseen anymore, we had to take responsibility for how much we tolerated and perpetuated. (BLM, Farmers, Trump) . There was no hiding and BS anymore. Relationships, true identities and intentions, true connections all tested. . Learning to let go of our absolute need for control, our shame, our guilt and leaning into the divine plan and on those around us and our community. Accepting help that was being offered graciously. . Depending on our truest calling and passions to serve those around us. . Trusting we have all it takes to get through this. We are enough. We don’t need to be anything more or less, who we are in this moment is exactly who we need to be. Those who SEE it, ACCEPT it, can be a PART of it, other are free to go.... . And so 2020 you will be never forgotten. You taught us lessons that were long overdue and changed our perception for the better. You brought us opportunities and opened doors we didn’t know possible! . 2021 my prayer is that all that we have learned in 2020 may continue to evolve and grow and may we truly move to a more connected, grounded, grateful, abundant place. . . #happynewyear2021 #lifelessonslearned #gratitude
