Cozy can sometimes mean hard to clean. Those antique chairs collect spiderwebs in all of the spaces on the under-side. Cottage signs, paddles and decor collect dust in places that you rarely see. Toilets: they're not glamorous but they definitely get lots of cleaning attention, and for good reason! Here are our tips to keep yours squeaky clean and looking new: 1 - Replace your toilet brush every three months. We've found that some people keep theirs for years ... years. 2 - A ring can be removed with very fine sandpaper (see next tip for how to dry for sanding). Even the cleanest toilet will appear dirty with a hard water ring and nobody wants that!... 3 - Turn off the water at the back of the tank to empty the bowl; this works for dry sanding off the ring or getting a really good clean without the water in the way. 4 - Fun fact: Your fridge handle has more bacteria than your toilet bowl (ok, so maybe it's more gross than fun but now you know).
