$695 Gibbard Farmhouse China Cabinet This gorgeous, solid wood Gibbard China cabinet was refinished in Onyx Grey with antiquing wax and sealed with a top coat. It also gave way to some crackling giving it a very old world charm. It features a light inside the upper cabinet, 3 drawers (one is stamped with Gibbard seal) and 3 lower cabinets on the buffet.

Can you all give me a few minutes...want to have a heart to heart chat with you all. Its been a tremendous honour to serve so many clients over the last 5 years...many of you have become sweet friends . Are you ever surprised how life takes its twists and turns. Sometimes steering you towards your goals other times away from them. When I first started refinishing furniture it was at a time when my full time job was so stressful and painting helped me unwind, clear my mi...nd and relax. My family continually encouraged me to start selling my pieces. When I finally found the courage to put my work out there...I was nervous but...when that first piece sold to a customer for her babys nursery I will never forget the thrill, the excitement and the gratitude. That was 5 years ago, since then I continue to challenge myself, learning new techniques, and teaching others along the way. Anyone can paint a piece of furniture but not everyone will put their heart and soul into. I care for each piece like its my own Im refinishing. I love meeting my clients and working with them to achieve the look they desire. I realized of late, my posts of available pieces have been sporadic. Im still refinishing pieces, building some and stocking my little shop. Behind the scenes of Simply Vintage...last October 2019 we bought, renovated (an entire house) and moved into the new house and rented out our family home all by the end of January 2020. My parents needed some extra care and then the whole Covid19 hit. My family was able to continue to work (a blessing from God) as we all adjusted to the new normal. Between my daughters upcoming wedding this fall and my hubbys surgery tomorrow...I have been working hard to have some extra pieces ready for my little shop. Let me know if you are looking for a particular piece...chances are I may just have it! A huge thank you and hugs from me...a simple girl from a small town - truly grateful and deeply humbled by all those who bought furniture or home decor from Simply Vintage .
