Um, I don't know about you, but I think a lot about COVID these days as the numbers grow exponentially. Every day I go through the "What if I catch it?" scenario. First of all, I'm a wee bit on the older side and not exactly in robust health. It's not completely unlikely that I would either die or suffer long-term disability. I have kids and a loving husband who would suffer emotionally, or physically if I inadvertently infected them. But, even if it just knocked me out for... a few weeks, we could say goodbye to Singing Bowl Granola. I have a great team of helpers, but I still run the show and the granola show would grind to a halt if I'm not fit to participate in the day to day activities. I've worked my butt off for nearly 10 years growing this business and engaging with and contributing to my community. It would be a real bugger to lose it 'cuz some folk feel that wearing a mask is succumbing to tyranny. Do you go through the "What if?" scenario? How would it affect you? Which of your loved ones would suffer? Which members of your family & friends are immunocompromised and can't afford to be infected? Will it hit you financially? We can't guarantee that we won't spread COVID, but we can follow protocol and slow it down.
