Because wine will never break your heart. Now that Christmas and New Years is over, it’s time to start planning for our next holiday - Valentine’s Day! That is of course, if it’s even humanly possible to purchase more stemless wine glasses in time.. but hey, at least with the latest restrictions update, we have hockey in Manitoba again. Because that’s a priority.. Gents, treat your ladies right this Valentine’s Day and surprise them with the prettiest glasses of them... all! We all know when you drive us crazy, the majority of us ladies reach for the wine! I’ll update you all once I can get back to glittering and making again. I have to say, the amount of people that have chosen to support their local businesses and makers this Christmas season is AMAZING. I feel I can speak on behalf of all of us and say - thank you! I came across this the other day and felt it was worth sharing as well.... To support a small business or local maker - it doesn’t mean you have to spend money all the time. Sometimes, supporting us little guys won’t cost you a dime! Here’s how you can support a local business or maker for free: Share their posts! Like their posts! Tag a friend or two in their posts! Comment something nice! Or comment with an emoji! Give a shoutout on social media (this really makes our hearts happy)! Leave a review! We’re less than TWO HOURS away from our second Instagram Story Sale! The last one I held in October went so well! Which means we’re making tonight’s sale even bigger and better! There are still some glasses up for grabs, which is why I thought - let’s expand our crowd a little bit and include Facebook on all the fun! Posted below, I will have all of the glasses that were featured in tonight’s sale that are still available, with their price listed. See something you like? Comment on the photo of the glass you would like to purchase and I will confirm if it’s yours!... I even had the boys pick out some glasses to be put on sale this evening, so watch out for those as well! Are you stressing to finish your Christmas shopping during these crazy times? While the government mandated all retailers to remove all non-essential items off of retail shelves - that doesn’t mean they are totally non-existent! The lovely ladies at Pennyweight Market are still offering curb-side pickup for all of their products - including products that have had to be removed off their shelves! Just give the ladies a phone call and they would be more than happy to help ...you out safely this holiday season! As for myself, I am still accepting Christmas orders! However, with the latest restrictions in place, I do ask that all orders are picked up locally in Beausejour, or opting for shipping once your order is ready. Cheers!

In case you didn’t hear me the first few hundred times.. Tomorrow is the day - the last Manitoba Night Market & Festival of 2020! While 2020 may have been a flop of a year for most (myself included.. ), it was also the perfect year for new leaps and adventures - one of which was taking that (incredibly scary ) big step and applying for a market bigger than any event I’ve ever applied for before AND being accepted yet. I’ve learned many new tips and tricks this yea...r from this market alone, and I’m so thankful for being a part of this amazing opportunity. I’m once again super excited to be accepted as one of the amazingly talented local artisans that you will find as an outdoor vendor at the Assiniboia Downs tomorrow during this event! Hello Lac Du Bonnet! We’re set up this evening at the Lac Du Bonnet Night Market happening on Third Street from 5pm to 9pm! Lots of amazing vendors - it’s worth getting outside and checking it out. Bring lots of water - it’s a hot one out here!

Thank you Manitoba! Yesterday was my first time as a vendor at the Manitoba Night Market and Festival - and I have nothing but amazing things to say! The event was very well planned and organized, the organizers and staff were more than helpful both before and during the event, and I felt very safe attending the event during this pandemic. Tomorrow is the big day! I’m still super nervous about being a first time vendor at this event, but regardless of my fears, it’s going to be an amazing day! Happy Friday ya’ll! I’m not normally one to draw attention to an issue like so, however, there’s been something bothering me that I would like to clear up. It’s come to my attention that in the past couple of days, another artisan made the very selfish decision to outright copy the look of my Instagram and bio, as well as try and gain each and everyone of my followers as their own.. to the point where I had many of my own followers come forward and ask if I was rebrandi...ng Sip In Style. Now, I say copy because unfortunately, I do not own the rights to this certain look and how I have my bio written, which means I cannot accuse this artisan of stealing it, as much as their actions may disappoint and disgust me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for supporting other local artisans and crafters, and to each their own. I understand that there will be many others that will pursue in the same hobby as I do, which is fine - however, BE. DIFFERENT. Don’t try copying another person’s hard work, dedication and ideas and claim them as your own, that’s not cool. That is not how us artisans and crafters treat one another. That is what hurts me the most. I don’t want to make this a super long post, but I did want to quickly clear the air. So for those asking, the answer is - no. I am not rebranding Sip In Style. I’m still doing my thing, making the world a more glittery and pretty place one wine glass at a time, and still rockin’ it like the badass boss babe I am. I do want to end this post on a good note and thank each and everyone of YOU. Sip In Style wouldn’t have grown and been as successful as it is today if it weren’t for all of my amazing supporters. So keep on sippin’ pretty, keep on sharing your glittery glasses on social media and tagging @sipinstyleshop, and keep on sharing that name with your crew. Because life really is better at the lake! While it’ll be a busy week ahead preparing for the Manitoba Night Market and Festival happening this Sunday - I knew a day away from glittering and glass-making is something I needed to do for me, something to keep me in check! We are back again today at the Beausejour Farmers' Market from 3pm - 7pm today! 9 different vendors, Pennyweight Market is serving up dinner in the barn, and we have live entertainment back again! Fingers crossed that the weather plays nice this time around! Ain’t no time for any small tornado-like winds today (or any market day)! ... After today’s market - you won’t see me until August 9th at the Assiniboia Downs for the Manitoba Night Market and Festival! Stay tuned as I will have my next set of dates for when you’ll see me at the Beausejour Farmers’ Market for the month of August and September coming soon!
