My song is about a child through the pandemic, and it shows how this can affect kids, too, Sabeshan said. Not being able to see my friends and not being able to go out to restaurants and all that stuff, it sucks.

On Monday we held our final session in our workshop series with drag stars Fay & Fluffy Here’s a clip of Fluffy talking to our senior students about the importance of expanding our knowledge of the world through the media we consume, building a better future, and using our language to support each other instead of bringing others down. These amazing sessions were funded by Community One Foundation and we’re incredibly thankful for the support! #GratitudeWednesday

A Brooklyn-born music prodigy has become one of the youngest-ever composers featured by a major orchestra, in a piece inspired by the challenges and cultural reckonings of 2020. I feel that music can change the way other people see the world around them, Moore said. #ourfutureleaders

Our Scarborough/Yorkwoods senior violin students are working hard to develop their playing skills, including their smooth slurs and sharp staccatos! Slurs indicate that the notes should be played smoothly and without separation, and a dot placed above or below a note indicates that it should be played staccato - detached and of shortened duration #WednesdayWisdom

#GivingTuesday2020 is only one week away! Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. We'll be celebrating, and we hope you will too!
