We are excited and honoured to be nominated for an ILEA international Esprit Award for Best Event for a Non-Profit Organization with RIMSFest. Karin Hoogland is an event producer and creative director for SITE 6 Events as well as one of the founding members of the Edmonton Chapter of ILEA. She served o...n the board from 2012 until 2015 and this year was part of the Nominations Committee. You may have seen some of Karin’s creative genius at Go West a few years back, remember the boxes that were part of the social event, well Karin partnered with Fabloomosity on those pieces that stimulated all of your senses and added an excellent immersive experience to the event. Like most of us in the events industry, Karin had to be creative in how to sustain her business during COVID-19, she reinvented an existing partnership to do just that.
