At Sitka, we build and pre-fit every component that goes into our Log and Timber Homes. These Lodgepole Pine stairs has a custom winding set of bottom treads, rather than building in multiple straight run sections with a landing. This style, while complex to design and manufacture, ensures that there is minimal 'dead space' underneath, helping to maximize the useable square footage of the home. Sometimes, the opportunity to help preserve historical structures comes along, and we are always eager to assist. Recently, Echo Valley Ranch & Spa reached out to get our assistance on repairing the lodge, and helping to refurbish a historical log cabin for future use. Last week we setup one of our Log Packages locally. This morning we received the following letter from our client, who live in the US and due to COVID has not been able to be here for the build: "Good morning, gentlemen! We would like to thank you very much for working with us this year to make our dream come true! Your team was able to overcome unprecedented challenges while working on our project and complete the job without ever having us set foot on the property or meet ...with you face to face. That demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and integrity on behalf of your organization. We are looking forward to the day that we will be able to see our cabin in person and finally meet you all! We are very grateful Sitka, Stay safe."
