I want to apologize to any of my clients that have left a message on my phone and I haven’t returned your call. My phone line was down and Eastlink has just transferred it over. The last month at the shop we had a lot of unwelcomed guest. This made all of us a little uneasy and will admit scared. We closed down all overnights as no one would stay overnight at the shop. They enjoyed eating all the dog treats, phone jacks, eating through the walls and whatever they could get their little teeth on. The unfortunate thing is I made no profit in daycare and overnights and free food from this family of critters. They just made themselves at home in my shop at no charge. Hopefully my next shop won’t have an infestation of rats in the ceiling and having a hay day in my shop during the night. An exterminator was brought in but man those little critters are smart traps are still empty. I do hope the owner is able to get rid of the little/big critters. Good Luck

Timberlea you welcomed our Daycare and Grooming Shop wth Open Arms. Today was definitely a very Hard Day. Our last day of greeting our clients with their daycare babes was on September 25, 2020 and for our grooming dogs on September 29, 2020. This was a very emotional day for my staff and myself as we spent a wonderful nine years in Timberlee serving our clients. We enjoyed every moment. There were days I would ...go to the shop and I would look up at the sign and I would say I can’t believe this is my little shop and I’m doing what I love. Dogs are my passion and to groom a dog and make him or her look absolutely beautiful for the client just made me feel so wonderful inside. I don’t think I have ever been given so many compliments in my entire life, with all the jobs I had, then what I received from everyone with the daycare dogs and grooming dogs. I know what is happening is temporary and hopefully things will come together sooner than later. I will be back in Timberlea to fully serve you again. Until then, I will be grooming out of my home but unfortunately I can’t do any daycare. All of my grooming clients have rebooked and I really appreciate that thank you. Overnight stays will continue as well. Just give me a call to book. Our number is still the same and the address of course is new temporarily. Our little Misty girl passed over the the rainbow bridge last night and is now with her sister Bitsy once again. Her memories will be in our hearts forever and she will be so missed. Mommy and daddy love you Misty girl and we really wish we couldve had more years with you. Rest in peace and run and play in the lush green grass with your sister Bitsy. love you baby girl

To our valued clients. As of September 30th, our lease will run out in Lakeside. What this means is the following: Unfortunately the daycare will be closed as of Friday, September 25th and will remain closed until further notice. This is very heart breaking for the staff as we will greatly miss seeing our beautiful fur babes and owners on a regular basis. If you do have any passes left, we would encourage you to please bring your fur babes in for a play date with their b...uddies. We will be continuing to groom. Hours will be revised and updated soon. While we continue to look for another place to purchase in Lakeside/Timberlea, we will be temporarily grooming in Bedford (only 15 minutes away). While this may be more of an inconvenience, we do hope that our clients will continue to bring their fur babies in for a spa day with us. Our phone number 902-445-9663 will remain the same. If you should have any questions, concerns or wish to book an appointment for a groom just give us a call we'll be here for you. While change can be good and challenging, this move is going to be a huge adjustment. We value your continuing service and hope to see you soon. Unfortunately my reopening date has changed to June 2nd. This date will not change. I have taken all the messages off and I will contact each and everyone of you and get your babes in for their groom. Again Im sorry for this interruption providing my service to my clients.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the shop will be tentatively closed from May 22nd to May 27th. If there is any change in these dates I will update immediately. Please feel free to call and leave message if you require a grooming appointment. We will return your call and set up date and time for you. I want to wish all my Customers and friends a very Happy Easter. I know this is a very different Easter celebration that we are experiencing. Most of us wont have the traditional family Easter dinner as were, understandably, unable to stay 6 feet away from each other. All we want is to hug each other as we enter into our family and friends homes . Unfortunately this is what were all up against this year so when youre at home with your family still do the little East...er egg hunt for the children, give the little treats to your furbabes. We all must still enjoy the big Easter family dinner whether it be with one family member or with 5. Embrace those who are there with you and give thanks that you are well and together. Things will look up!!! were all struggling, were all going a little stir crazy isolating ourselves in our homes but at least were safe. I miss all of my customers and I definitely miss all our daycare dogs. We will all make it through hugs to each and everyone of you from the staff of Sittin Pretty doggy daycare and spa. See more

During this trying time we are accommodating all our clients with grooming appointments only. We are not excepting any walk-in grooming but will accept walk-in nail clippings only, We are working on reduced hours throughout the week so please call if youre coming for a nail clipping. COVID 19 UPDATE To our valued clients!! As of today March 23rd our daycare services are now suspended until further notice. This decision weighs heavy on our hearts as we will miss not seeing our daycare babes as well as their owners. GROOMING UPDATE... The grooming will continue by appointment only. We will not be accepting any walk-ins. We have setup precautions to keep distance between client and staff. Clients can only enter first door coming and going . A staff member will take and give you back your dog. We are cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces constantly. The safety of our clients and staff is priority number one. We are trying to be as cautious as possible. If you were bringing in a dog or picking up a dog please follow the guidelines that are posted on the door. The Team are also going to endeavour to take things up a notch with increased frequency of cleaning/sanitation of our premises. At this writing, there is no evidence of pet-to-person transmission of the COVD-19 virus, or vice-versa. I ask that you please take precaution if you have been out of the country 14 days. If you are currently undergoing "self-isolation" for whatever reason. Or if you have a reasonable expectation that a family member my be developing an illness that they have been exposed to. If the client can anticipate that entering the shop may expose any of our team member to possible COVID contamination from such a visit. Preferably, at risk clients who are in self-isolation could elect to have a friend or family member outside their home pick their pet up for delivery to Sittin`Pretty. Our hearts are broken as two of our Sittin Pretty babes have crossed over the rainbow bridge. We want to send out our condolences to the families of little Rusty and Sid. These two little boys had quite the personalities and we always enjoyed the time we spent with them. They will be missed dearly.

We love taking good care of your fur babes who are coming in for daycare or for a day at the spa. It has been 8 years of serving the Timberlea community and surrounding areas. I must admit time has gone by so fast and I have had the opportunity to meet such wonderful people. I hope that 2020 is a good year for all and please forget about making a NewYears resolution only 8% of the population will succeed. He was a brave little boy he has only three legs and was always very very sensitive when you went around his feet.
