There is SO MUCH noise in digital marketing that you've probably been approached by at least one SEO, one digital marketer, or one social media advertiser (etc) talking about the benefits of a digital advertising and how they will transform your business. Today Im sharing this graph with some of the things that have been accomplished with a client of mine in a years time that's led to sustained growth and increased sales DESPITE a global pandemic taking place. I'll be honest......5 years ago I constantly had to explain what it is I did and how it would benefit their business without the proof to back it up. Digital marketing, SEO and Local SEO get a bad rap because of individuals and providers who do it incorrectly. Far to many times I've seen services advertised only to check their own site to see poor on page optimization (the foundation of SEO) not to mention a website that is nowhere to be found in search. How can you advertise services to sell when you yourself are nowhere to be found in an already crowded marketplace? What about metric tracking? Offering services without providing any reporting still surprises me even to this day! It's been an incredibly busy October at Sixo Media. We've got three websites that should be launching this month, multiple clients that are seeing success on improved Google My Business Rankings/Review Generation and on top of that...we're shooting video...FOR FREE What's the catch? None really...this will eventually be something that we will offer as a service but to improve our portfolio and skills we've teamed up with a handful of local businesses to shoot a small edit ...for free to benefit both teams. Another opportunity to have some fun. Fortunate enough to enjoy this small same day shoot and edit of a #Roush #Mustang. Living in #GrandePrairie it can be incredibly challenging to find a day where the wind isn't blowing which caused a problem with the drone not being able to fly as gusts were upwards of 70 km/h on Saskatoon Mountain. I got a quick shot in but the rest was done in the dealership and some small shots on the road.... Regardless a GREAT learning experience and a fun one to say the least. Definitely see why shooting cars with three people or more is a necessity given the need for a chase car! Hopefully next time

Got to practice some #drone work today with the #mavicmini. It's not perfect but turned out with only an hour edit time to get up on social media. Have to say I was pretty worried with the @dji mini in wind speeds of 55 km/h but it held its own and I happily went home with it. Currently working on a bigger edit with some more video on the ground but be sure to check out the @gpcountryclub for the post on all the drone work clipped together and tell me what you think.

Starting to roll out video as an option at Sixo Media. This is one that was recently completed for the Quick Lane on the north end of town in Trader Ridge. In the coming weeks we are going to be offering up some opportunities on videos for past clients or potential businesses in Grande Prairie who are reopening their doors with the COVID-19 restrictions being lifted.
