Smothered in our housemade chicken paté and mushroom duxelle with fresh herbs, surrounded with delicate puff pastry. Oven baked, served with a port peppercorn sauce. Hey Sizzlin peeps! First from Paul, Jordan Jess, Brett Michael, Lucas, Troy and myself, we want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and to say thank you for the support which has kept us open. We truly are blessed with your patronage. As we get ready for yet another lockdown, we have decided that we are closing after lunch today, and will remain closed December 25, 26, 27, and 28th. Reopen on the 29th, 30th and New Years Eve for take out dinner, then closed January 1st... and 2nd, and then re-open January 3rd and will keep open Tuesday to Saturday, closed Sundays and Mondays. To organize take outs better, we will have time slots for pick ups. Every half hour, so for lunch, 11:30, 12, 12:30, 1 and 1:30. For dinner 4:30, 5, 5:30, 6 and 6:30. Only 1 person allowed in the restaurant at a time and 1 waiting in the vestibule which can come in as the other leaves. We will be offering most of the full menu with maybe only a couple of non items. Orders can be left on the sizzlinrestaurant.com website. Or you can call in the order between 11-2 and 4-6 Tuesday-Saturday. There will be some hiccups and first come first serve scenarios but we promise that we will try to accomodate all requests. Wow, that was a crazy night to finish off a busy weekend. Thanks to all who have supported us throughout this Covid mess and thanks to my team who have worked hard and long hours either sweating it in the kitchen or running up and down those stairs like a stairmaster. Our new butcher from Exotic Fine Meats in Craigleith is treating us well. All of our striploins and tenderloins are grass fed. ... Well Sizzlin Folks, we think we are ready for Stage 3 reopening. We were closed all day Thursday, with our staff working hard getting the dining room ready for Friday dinner. There will definitely be some changes and adjustments to get used to, but all for the good and safety of both our staff and our customers. Our Covid19 policies, as mandated by the Grey Bruce Health Unit, will be posted at the door, and please read before entering. ... As part of trying to go above and beyond for safety, we will be introducing our digital menus. All you need is a smart phone or tablet, scan our code and it brings you right to our menu. One less thing you have to touch. Our server will still take your order from there. We have been waiting a long time for this and thank you for your continued support in Sizzlin. Can't wait to see you in the dining room again!

So......tomorrow is suppose to be stupid hot. I know we dont have the worst environment to work in but between the kitchen and the steps, its brutal enough. To try to keep things safe for our staff, we have decided to close for lunch tomorrow and open up at dinner time only. Yes it will still be hot, but not having to be in the heat all day and night will relieve our staff who have battled throughout this heatwave. We hope you understand. Dinner resos will start at 5pm.
