Count-down to membership renewal! Members of the St. Joseph Island Hunters and Anglers, it's time to renew your membership. Your Club is closed to public meetings and gatherings, but the benefits of membership, like insurance, continue. Your Board is actively developing new ways of fundraising, and it is planning events where we can get together in celebration but with sincere respect of Covid-19 health guidelines. You can renew in person on Saturday, December 12, from 10 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Details on the Website www.sjiha.ca. Otherwise, please renew by December 31, online or by mail. E-transfers are now possible.

St. Joseph Anglers and Hunters Association is planning the 31st Annual Wild Game Dinner in 2021. It may not fall on the traditional last Saturday in January, and it will definitely have a new format that complies to the restrictions of Covid-19. Hunters and Anglers, now that hunting season is here, and angling seasons continue, please remember the Club dinner. All donations of game meat are welcomed. Indeed the dinner's success can be attributed to your generosity in the past. We as a Club are keen to continue the tradition of the excellent event of the Wild Game Dinner. Please email the Club at [email protected] for details. Thank you to Nicki M. She has offered to pick up any donations of game meat.

A Good-News Update The Executive of the Club is pleased to announce that the Hunters and Anglers Club is weathering the Covid-19-caused suspension of events and activities. The Executive has resumed monthly meetings, but general membership meetings will not occur until the Club can safely host larger numbers. Also notable is the stellar support that the Club members are providing to the Club and to fellow members. The Executive is hugely grateful, and the support is key to the continued viability of the Club. The St. Joseph Island Hunters and Anglers is well worth its membership, and especially now, the Club needs every member. The fall hunting season is around the corner; check out www.sjiha.ca to discover the benefits of Club membership.
