This is a fact that cannot be stressed enough. Think about how many able bodies are roaming this planet for the soul purpose of achieving personal success, and how much time & energy (months,years,decades) it consumes. Now ask yourself roughly how much time & energy you put into giving back to the planet to ensure we can inconsequentially enjoy the fruits of our labour for generations to come. Personally, I've put in about 40-50 hours into cleanup efforts in 2020 which is ...satisfactory at most. Whether its purchasing more sustainably or efforts in restoring the environment. Society has us so imbalanced and its heart breaking because it's been so easily achievable for so long. I will never settle for thinking i've done more than my part in restoring local ecosystems because theres not enough time.
