Skate Tecumseh 15.12.2020

Did you know that Skate Tecumseh works in partnership with Paradise Gaming Centre & Charitable Gaming Windsor? We provide volunteers to help out with their bingo sessions and in turn we receive funds to offset ice and coach costs. If you are interested in volunteering your time (once we are back to some normalcy), please let us know!

Congrats to: - Elisa & Allison for passing their Star 3B Dance Elements test - Zoe for passing Star 1 Free Skate Elements... - Karina for passing Star 4 Free Skate elements and Star 4 Free Skate program Well done ladies!

Skate Tecumseh is one of the many lucky local not for profit organizations who receive bingo profits from @charitablegamingwindsor and Paradise Gaming Centre. We use our bingo money to supplement ice costs and coaching fees.

All Skate Tecumseh programs are running as scheduled unless the the Health Unit advises the Town of Tecumseh to close the arena. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely and will continue to follow up any update from the Town of Tecumseh and the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit in the upcoming days. Here are the recommendations for all Skate Canada participants : ... -If you are sick or have any symptoms of respiratory illness such as fever, cough or difficulty breathing, please stay at home and do not attend any Skate Canada activities, consult with your physician or public health authorities and follow their instructions. -Limit contact with others and avoid interaction with individuals who are ill. -Proper hygiene can help reduce the risk of infection or spreading infection to others. Please use the following precautions: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the washroom and when preparing food. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available. Cough or sneeze into a tissue or the bend of your arm, not your hand. Dispose of any tissues you have used as soon as possible in a lined waste basket and wash your hands afterwards. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands. Clean high-touch surfaces frequently with regular household cleaners or diluted bleach (a 9/1 water-to-bleach ratio is recommended) Avoid physical contact and getting too close to others, including shaking hands and hugging. If you are a healthy individual, the use of a mask is not recommended for preventing the spread of COVID-19.
