APPRECIATION MONDAY!! Evelyn Saindon has been a rockstar this fall! She's helped us repaint our entrance sign, parking lot poles, ski racks and soon-to-be our chalet. We appreciate the expertise she has in painting and being able to utilize them to update aspects of our hill. Her enthusiasm is contagious and it's so great to have her as one of our volunteers!... Dryden Ski Club seeks enthusiastic applicants to gain a Canadian Ski Instructors Association (CSIA) Certificate to enhance our ski school program. Certification renewal will be reimbursed after 10hrs of instructing. Newly certified instructors will be reimbursed after 20hrs of instructing. Work is performed mostly outdoors in all weather conditions, with some indoor consultation with participants. Term runs Dec 2020 March 2021, weekdays, weekends, holidays and nights. All gear in this department is new, which requires continuous maintenance and monitoring. Position allows for a flexible schedule and diverse ski resort experience. Term runs Dec 2020 March 2021, weekdays, weekends, holidays and nights. WAGE: $14.25/hour and free membership... POSITION DUTIES: Adaptability to change roles during shifts to provide relief within the facility (kitchen support, cleaning/sanitization, lift operator, rental technician, instructor) Consideration of customer safety during all activities within the facility Responsible for safe operation, capacity load, and guest assistance at lifts Develop and maintain rental equipment inventory Diligent tracking and maintenance of rental equipment Quality customer service through all interactions * Past ski resort experience is an asset * APPLICATION DETAILS: Submit a cover letter, resume and 2 references in confidence to [email protected] Deadline for applications is Wednesday November 25th, 2020.
