Actually teaching a ski lesson tomorrow (Wednesday) morning meeting at Blue Mt South Lodge ski racks at 10 am. Plan to do video analysis too! All our skiers welcome.

Okay, looks like Ontario skiing is shutting down until Jan 23. So we have to cancel all our ski dates but will leave Jan 24 up for now. I'm skiing at Blue Mt this week for sure on Wed and Fri before they close up (plus maybe even more) so will be available for lessons if requested. Our Tremblant ski camp is also cancelled since interprovincial travel requires 14 days isolation. We will try to run a trip to Tremblant later in the season once skiing resumes.

Better NOT procrastinate! Had my first ski day at Blue Mt today and they actually opened up six-seater chairlifts at South, Central and Inn lodges. Physical distancing was definitely workable. HOWEVER, with current terrain open, Blue Mt is actually sold out of ALL weekend lift tickets for the ENTIRE season! Weekdays are still available so if you can take days off during the week, I would urge you to book your lift tickets on Wednesdays or Fridays when I'm available to tea...ch. As more terrain opens up, they will try to release more lift tickets on weekends but nothing is guaranteed and if they do, these will sure to be snapped up quickly. Then you run the risk of not being able to ski with our group at all this winter unless you have an IKON pass. If you want to ski on a Sunday with us, better keep an eye on Blue Mt's website on a regular basis and act quickly. See more

Blue Mountain just announced their opening day which will be December 19. However, we have cancelled all official ski lesson days until our Tremblant ski camp and will return to Blue Mt for lessons after the New Year (see our Events). I will be skiing on opening day and a few days next week to get my own techniques back as well as prep for Tremblant. I might be open to a quick lesson if any of our members are planning to go up.
