SAFETY ALERT..WATCH FOR LOGGING TRUCKS TRAVELLING ON THE LOAKIN-BEAR CREEK ROAD. THEY ARE ENTERING THE ROAD JUST SOUTH OF OUR PARKING LOT AND TRAVELLING NORTH TO THE ADAMS LAKE MILL.
Not much working in our favour these days. Big winds brought debris, very warm temps created wet trails and then minus 11 C froze it all into a skating rink with debris We tried to groom and just got no where with that mess. Not much we can do until we get SNOW ! Due to the weather and no new snow Ski and Snowshoe Trails are hard packed and icy. Please be careful out there. Afternoons may be the better time to go out. Until new snow arrives, OR above average temperatures return, grooming will be postponed.
Trails look great!!!
As of Dec13th , NO new snow. Ski conditions are sub-par for sure. Feel free to use ski trails for snowshoeing until tracking begins again. Don’t despair, snow is on its way! And here is a cool zebra pic to brighten your day
Ice fishing at Skmana.

. With no new snow ski conditions are now less favourable. Somewhat icy and fast. Caution required. Sunflower remains closed. Snowshoe trails are in good shape. Watch snow report for updates This is sad news but this very adorable rodent might help a little.
