Waste Disposal Service Notice -All garbage shall be bagged and tied, with the exception of glass refuse. -Any heavy refuse must be double bagged in order to avoid ripping and spilling.... -Spilled garbage in and around the bin shall be the responsibility of the tenant. -Please see Skownan Health for descriptions of safe disposal of needles and sharps. (laundry detergent containers, sharps containers, closed thick heavy plastic containers) -Glass is to be placed in a thick cardboard box and laid flat inside to avoid bending and/or ripping of the box to avoid cuts to our waste disposal employees. -Garbage must be inside of the garbage bin with the lid closed to be disposed of. -Any refuse that is too large to fit inside of the Bin (e.g. furniture) shall not be picked up. -Animal waste (e.g. animal carcasses, fish heads) shall be double bagged and tied for it to be picked up. -Any car parts, metal frames, ATV parts, and/or snow machine parts are to be disposed of by the tenant. -Oil from vehicles shall be put inside of a sealed containers and taken to nearest oil depot. *Failure to follow these guidelines may result in garbage not being picked up until the issue has been resolved.* Mondays - Yellow Tuesday - Green Wednesday - Blue Thursday - Orange If garbage is missed at your place, please wait 24 hours, then message or call housing to file a complaint.

We request that any calls for home repairs and maintenance come directly to the office at 204-628-3373, ext 111 (CJ or Linda). We ask that third party requests be kept to a circumstantial basis. I will also take requests from this account through messenger. Unless it is an emergency as pertained in an earlier post, please refrain from calling administration at home on weekends and after hours.... Emergencies include but are not limited to: -NO Water -NO Heat -Plumbing line breaks -Septic back up or plugged toilet in a single W/C home -Severe damage to the exterior of a home the exposes living areas to the elements Thank you.
