The Delta Hospice Society is a volunteer-based organization in suburban Vancouver that provides assistance to families experiencing life-threatening diagnoses and palliative care. Earlier this year, the provincial NDP government in British Columbia announced that the hospice would no longer be able to provide palliative care and that they must provide assisted suicide. Please join me in signing and sharing this petition telling the provincial government in British Columbia to restore full funding to the Delta Hospice Society and to not force the Society to engage in Medical Assistance in Dying (assisted suicide) either directly or through effective referral.
