Delivered the memorial quilt today so picked up the rest of my supplies for the next baby blanket Can't wait to see how it turns out!! Who's next after this one??

Moved my quilting area upstairs as our furnace is out and waiting for the new part to get here and its too cold in the basement Working on final touches of a memorial quilt and then off to its owner... Can't wait to see if they love how its turning out ..I know I love how its coming together

I buy perfectly good material and I cut it up, then I put it back together - so yes that sounds crazy. But somewhere between the 1st cut and the last stitch,I have worked out some things that were bothering me, I have talked and prayed to God. Maybe I have thought about loved ones that have left us and some special times I had with them. Sometimes I face the truth about myself, and it’s not always pretty but I’m still working on being a better person. The loved one that r...eceives the quilt will never know how many problems I worked out or how many good and bad thoughts I had, the tears I shed and the love I felt while putting the cloth back together. Sometimes I find solutions to things going on in my life and sometimes I don’t but in the end I always find a little more of myself, the true me. The one God wants me to be and I’m so thankful that I have this craft that has become like therapy to my soul and leaves me with a peaceful feeling washing over me. Every quilt I make is made with love and made to use! As a quilter I love to have patch up and repair my well used quilts!!
