Yesterday Christmas reminded everyone of love, peace in Syria before the war .. It was very difficult for us to choose a group of many pictures that were sent to us about the Christmas party, so I will share with you most of the pictures .. When is your birthday? Did you know that the Syrian children we sponsor through Sask to Syria have never celebrated their birthday before with gifts and cake?! So we thought it would be a new tradition to start celebrating and commemorating every child’s birthday this year!! This is what is happening...for every child’s birthday we are surprising them with a gift, a cake and a visit from Mickey Mouse and Jerry from Paw Patrol. More birthdays are around the corner. We ...have a room filled with over 1000 toys, and we partnered with some local bakery’s to keep this up. Here are some pictures of some of the birthday surprises so far. They are so happy, they have tears in their eyes. We feel so encouraged!! We can’t wait to share more!!! We are all human. please meet Ali . He is a young boy in Syria who lost family because of the war. Since his father usually supported the family financially he has taken on this responsibility upon himself. He sells items at the school to make money. You can see in this picture that Ali had a small bin. So....we thought it would be a good idea to buy him (with your support) a bigger cart/stand so he can sell more things. ... We know that the luck of the draw of where we’re born shouldn’t determine your fate in life. It’s the content of our hearts, not the colour of our passports that’s important. Christmas gifts and love is not over yet, we still here, still share love and food . Day in and day out. Today they’re safely providing 704 pounds (320 kg) chicken breast for 160 family . You are the reason someone is smiling today! At times like this, spreading positivity is more important than ever. Thank you .

We thought I’d be a fun idea to invite you to participate in this years campaign to raise money for the kids at Christmas. *** Take a couple minutes to video your kid(s). If you and your kid(s) would like to participate in this video, please let me know ASAP. We would like to have all video in by December 5th so we can edit it....
