Hello Skule! This year, that Skule Alumni Outreach directorship was revived after an almost two year hiatus. The committee got together to find an entirely different landscape for Alumni & Student Interactions: UofT Engineering Connect. This year paralleled the First Year engineering experience, with some successes, but most importantly a bunch of lessons learned. We worked hard to establish relationships with the Advancement Office and student clubs, and collaborated on a ...multitude of events ranging from IEEE’s Energy Mixer to YNCN’s Resume Hackathon In addition, we executed our own events, such as Having Doubts about your Discipline? and the LGMB Reunion. Lastly, we released the first-ever guide to alumni engagement for clubs and directorships alike, and increased the level of engagement we had on our various social media accounts! I want to thank my team without whom nothing Skule Alumni Outreach did would have been possible. Thank you to my Outreach Events & Volunteer Director, Edward for planning and executing fabulous events. The clubs and outreach coordinator, Ding ZQ for tirelessly reaching out to clubs and creating the first-ever club's guide to CONNECT. The marketing director, Amritha for making some killer graphics for promotional material. And Abhinav for being always willing to help and representing the first years as their representative. It was an absolute joy being your Skule Alumni Outreach Director this year! This year was new and tough but definitely enjoyable. I know that Amritha, the next Skule Alumni Outreach Director, will do an even more amazing job with SkuleAO this year. Signing off for that last time.
