Have you heard of Mask Mouth? Mask mouth is a relatively new issue that we have come across since the pandemic has started.. patients are starting realize that they may be smelling their bad breath now that everyone is in a mask! Here are some tips on how to avoid Mask Mouth! 1. Brush your teeth atleast twice a day to get rid of smelly bacteria in your mouth! 2. Floss once a day! Did you know that only floss can get bacteria from right between your teeth? 3. Don’t forget... your tongue! Your tongue can hold on to tons of bacteria and is often forgotten about! Brush your tongue gently when you are brushing your teeth. 4. A minty mouthwash can do wonders! Make sure it is alcohol free so you don’t dry out your tissues. 5. Last but not least! Water! Drinking water throughout the day can help flush away bacteria that may cause bad breath. If you have any concerns about bad breath, the team at Sky Dental would be happy to help!
