Huge honour bestowed to Ann Kimbrough, by Screenwriting U! Skylight Films is currently in post-production on 'Good Kid/Bad Kid', one of several screenwriting projects that Ann was involved with in 2013. Congrats Ann, more honours are coming your way in 2014 and beyond!
With Halloween coming, it's time for a retro-Skylight Films music video (our first, shot on Super 16mm), 'Vampire Girl', from indie-band Chewy, that aired on Much Music in 1997!
Just in time for Halloween, Skylight Film's 'Dark Fields' (now in its 10th year of release) is available through Lionsgate Home Entertainment (www.lionsgateshop.com). As our first horror movie it is VERY low budget (yes LG's artwork had a bigger budget then our movie did) and campy, and we're unsure as to why it was referred to as "the most terrifying movie experience of the decade" but this reviewer did sum it up nicely: "Lionsgate presents high school slasher horror 101 ...- a super low-budget movie set in a dark abandoned house with two hot young chicks and a couple of goofy guys that get off'd" and our favourite: "Hey, at least the lead actress is a hotty" - Dread Central
Detective Munroe (Nick Mancuso) is questioned over Chief Mears (Roddy Piper), while police officer Jay (Joel Hookey) begins to deal with the fall out of his actions and his conscience (*viewer discretion for Rod's 'colourful improvisation'!)

We'd like to take this opportunity to dedicate the current showcasing of 'BLINDeye' to the memory of Joel Hookey (Jay), who passed away in 2010. Joel was an unwavering supporter of our projects, always enthusiastic and loyal. We miss you "Hollywood"!
Chief of Police Fred Mears (Roddy Piper) assures Nick (Levi Oliver) that finding his missing daughter is a priority, with help coming from fellow police officers Jay (Joel Hookey) and Vince (Jamie Routley) as well as boyhood friends Rudy (Phil Babcock) and Tim (Shaun K Hood)
Ex-cop Nick Browning (Levi Oliver) learns from his estranged wife Katherine (Tara Goudreau) that his brotherhood of friends may know more about his daughter's disappearance then they let on.
As Skylight Film's 'Blind Eye' (starring Roddy Piper and Nick Mancuso) begins it's 5th year of broadcast on TV (Super Channel, Can West Global (Mystery/Action), we're posting official movie clips and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photos for all those who may want to catch the re-airings in early 2014. Congrats to our cast/crew!!
