Here's a Cancon deep cut for 'ya on a Sunday morning! Not many people recall The Boomers, an Ontario band active largely in the 90's, fronted by Ian Thomas, who... as a solo act, had a number of hits including Painted Ladies in 1974. Thomas wrote "Hold On" which was famously covered by Santana and "The Runner", by Manfred Mann. He still tours locally in Southern Ontario. Music trivia: Ian's brother is Dave Thomas, from SCTV fame. Here's an early version of The Boomers "One Little Word", recorded at The Cove Resort in West Kelowna in Aug 2018, with Peter Thorne on lead guitar. It's yet another Deborah Gold proprietary, exclusive, custom MIDI track.
