It bothers me that I need to write this. On Saturday we seen almost 600 riders hit our 3 hills, Sunday 200 riders. To the majority of the riders, thank you for being respectful and acting responsibly in our community and on the hills. We appreciate it, very much.... For the group who felt the need to be rude and disrespectful to the staff in one of our fine establishments, please do one of 2 things, Contact them and apologize for your behaviour or just please do not come back to McBride. The staff of our businesses go above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. Our town is small, our resources limited, I have seen staff at restaurants and the bar give guys a ride back to their hotel after they've had a drinks because we have no cabs. I have seen locals step up and supply parts they had kicking around or even taken them off their own sled and open their garage to help repair a damaged sled when our sled shops didn't have the parts. I could go on.... These very same folks don't deserve to be disrespected by you. Unfortunately the actions of just a few can have a severe impact not only on the rest of the visitors but to the locals as well. Please be respectful.

2020-2021 MBCSA Memberships are available for purchase at Advantage Insurance in McBride. Our AGM is set for November 3, 2020. We are looking for volunteers. Please attend our AGM and join the team. Note: Volunteers must be members. Non-riders are welcome. Memberships are $50.

Renshaw and Lucille being groomed again tonight.

Belle Mountain on Thursday. There’s snow in areas, but as we know the cabin should be buried, so there’s not enough yet. We have a ways to go, but we’re happy to see it’s coming.

After 2 long days of trail building the Renshaw trail is now completed and groomed. Hoping to have the parking lots plowed in the next few days. Please be advised that there is to be no parking around the entrance off Mountain view road as we have to keep access for the logging trucks that will be working up the hill above there. Parking in the upper lot will be from beside the loading ramp and along the edge overlooking the lower parking lot and out in the back of the upper lot. Signs will be posted.

GREAT NEWS. Our fantastic groomer will have Lucille and Belle Mtn completed by end of today. Fees will be collected starting tomorrow Nov 27, 2020 at both locations. Renshaw is next, we will keep you posted. Stay safe, and enjoy the sledding.

Enjoy all this epic new snow friends but please ride safe. Avalanche Canada is discussing a persistent weak layer in the snowpack from feb 22 and it is rearing... its ugly head with this new load. Avoid it by sticking to shallow, supported terrain and just bash down all this great pow safely. Allan and Chappell groomed up fresh tonight with only 30 riders on Clemina since yesterdays groom. Ride safe
