Are you maintaining a regular cleaning schedule with your CPAP equipment? Cleaning your mask, tubing and water chamber reduces the build-up of dust, bacteria, mold, and germs from growing on the inside. This bacteria can cause frequent colds, sinus infections, or even pneumonia. A leaking or shifting CPAP mask could be due to facial oil and dirt build up if not wiped down daily. How often are you changing the filter in the unit? A clogged filter puts a lot of strain on the unit's motor that can result in a whining sound, nulling the unit's three year warranty.
