Good day SLFN Membership. Our annual Christmas distribution dates have been scheduled. The dates and locations will be Friday, December 4th at SLFN, Saturday, December 5th in Prince Albert and Sunday, December 6th in Saskatoon. Distribution amounts will be $80.00 per band member along with a $50.00 voucher per household to the Sturgeon Lake Store for on reserve membership or a $50.00 gift card per household to Safeway/Sobeys for off reserve membership. All Covid 19 safety measures will be in place. Thank you.

Attention SLFN membership. Please be advised that an individual who has tested positive for the Covid 19 virus has been removed from the community for breaching isolation rules. The individual will remain outside the community until medically cleared to return. An official notice on this matter will be forthcoming. We remind everyone about the seriousness of the Covid 19 virus and also warn about the consequences of any breaches to isolation guidelines. The safety of everyone during these times is a top priority. Band Programs and leadership are working with the local RCMP detachment to ensure strict enforcement of this. Thank you. COVID-19 Update: 34 New Cases, 9 in Hospital, 11 Recoveries. There are 34 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on October 13, bringing the total to ...2,174 cases. The new cases are located in the North Central (9), Saskatoon (8), Central West (4), and Regina (11) zones. Two cases have locations pending. Public health investigations continue to follow up on all new cases to determine if they have links to known events or if they are new transmissions within the community. Of the 2,174 reported cases, 238 are considered active. A total of 1,911 people have recovered. Nine people are in hospital. Seven people are receiving inpatient care; 4 in Saskatoon, 1 in Regina, 1 in North Central and 1 in Central East.
