Alhamdulillah, We’re excited to share the great news that, In-Shaa- Allah Masjid Al Jannah is reopening for Jummah prayers this Friday June 12, 2020. The Ontario Government has announced that places of worship can open its doors and offer services Starting Friday June 12, 2020 with physical distancing in place and attendance limited to no more than 30% of the building capacity. We have established the following guidelines to ensure your safety, safety of the community and t...he volunteers. In order to reduce the spread of the virus we are taking the following steps: 1 . All congregants must Complete Ontario's COVID-19 self-assessment and register to attend the masjid. 2 . Allow only 75 congregants at any given prayer on a first come first serve basis. 3 . Open the congregation for healthy adults. Children under the age 13 are not allowed. 4 . Ensure the appropriate physical distancing measures are in place in entry and exit line-ups, within the mosque and during congregational prayers. 5 . Prayers will be shortened and attendees are expected to exit right after prayers to avoid gatherings and maintain safety. ( Nafl and Sunnah Prayers to be performed at home). 6 . Washrooms and Wudu areas will remain closed. We ask you to please: 1 . Pre-register to attend. (click on the link to register https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/jummah-at-masjid-al-jannah-tick ) 2 . Bring your own prayer mat and a bag (to keep your personal belongings and shoes with you) 3 . Keep your personal belongings including your shoes with you at all times. (You may be asked to enter and exit through different doors.) 4 . Make your Wudu at Home. 5 . Practice physical distancing while at the masjid, during prayer and at the parking lot. 6 . Avoid handshakes, embracing, close talking etc Important We will conduct 3 congregational prayers as follows; 1st Prayer - Starting at 1:20 PM 2nd Prayer - Starting at 2:00 PM 3rd Prayer Starting at 2:30 PM You’re required to Pre- Register and present the event pass at the entrance.( NO EXCEPTIONS)
