She's a 22 yr old thoroughbred mare who is lucky to be alive. 3 years ago, she developed laminitis after a complicated stillborn delivery. Laminitis, (or founder), is a painful, crippling equine disease whe...re the hooves are deteriorating. In Miss Pangea's case, it was brought on by infection due to the difficult birth.
