How’s your work from home posture? While it’s great to alternate between standing and sitting, posture still matters. Here’s a few key points to consider:... - Equal weight distribution on feet - Neutral spine - Shoulders rolled down & back - Gaze neutral/downward (but not straining) - Relaxed jaw Regular movement breaks will also help reduce the stiff back and achy hips we all feel after a day of desk work. So make sure to schedule in some regular stretches, a quick walk around the block, maybe a couple sets of stairs... How do you get movement during your work day?

Anyone else feeling that lock down slump? Added some outdoor runs to this weeks training to mix things up. Sometimes it’s hard to find the motivation to head to the basement to throw some dumbbells around. Part 1: Strength Circuit 12 reps alternating legs on the step ups (6/side) 12 single arm presses per arm 12 Pikes with the TRX/Gliders/Towel Rest 60 sec X4 Rounds Part 2: Conditioning 30 sec of Devil’s Presses (aim for 5+) 30 sec rest X10 Part 3: Cool Down Stretch, practice some handstands, lay there and breathe. Anytime of year is a great time to set out new intentions, resolutions, goals. But I love the fresh start and blank slate that comes with writing out a new year! I heard this quote today by @johnmaxwellteam and it made me really reflect on the importance of taking action. Setting out intentions is a good start, but unless acted on, they’re pretty fruitless. ... Intentions need to be supported by actions and reinforced by intentional living. Partner Chipper Style WOD For this workout, each athlete will complete 100 reps of each exercise before moving on to the next. With only one person working at a time, you get built in rest periods. Choose how you many reps you want to do at a time, then alternate back and forth until you get through the list! For example: Jake & I split the squats into 20 rep chunks, 5 times each. Push ups were 10 at a time, for 10 sets. You choose what works best for you!... If 200 reps seems a bit too ambitious, cut it down to 100 (50 each). Then break it into manageable chunks and chip away until it’s done. Grab a partner, fill up your water, turn on some good tunes and sweat away! #partnerWOD #bodyweightworkout #chipperWOD
