OPEN HOUSE Our Virtual Open House is two weeks away! Over the Christmas break we were busy filmingcheck out some behind-the-scenes footage of our students and staff showcasing our school. Do you or someone you know have a daughter ready to embark on her SMA journey? Please share this with friends who might be interested. This is a great opportunity to get a sense of our school community before applications are due February 4.... Our virtual event includes a live welcome followed by pre-recorded video and concludes with a Zoom Q & A session where attendees can have their questions answered. Alumnae in the News Today we’re acknowledging the many alumnae health heroes and front line workers in our community continuing the fight against Covid-19. As tweeted earlier this week by @WinnipegRHA, Public Health Nurse and COVID Communicable Disease Coordinator, Sylvia Camara Tavares ’96 helped administer one of the first COVID-19 vaccines in a personal care home. In 2018, she also won Female Artist Of The Year! After being separated for over 4 months due to Covid travel bans, Leanne and her, now husband, finally got married! They got married at an Elvis Chapel with their cat as the ‘cat of honour’! Miles Away is a song Leanne wrote a few months ago during quarantine about being away from her husband. So many people will be Miles Away from their loved ones. Released less than one week ago, it has already resonated with so many people! In February 2016 Judge Prost took up the position of Chef du Cabinet for the President of the International Criminal Court. In December 2017, Ms. Prost was elected as a Judge of the International Criminal Court and she is currently serving as a Judge of the trial Division of the Court in the Hague. Ms. Prost has lectured extensively throughout her career and is the author of several published works on international cooperation, international criminal law, specifically with respect to the International Criminal Court.
