I have been thinking all day about what our actual futures will be . I’m determined to help everyone stay alive , to ensure that as a community we help each other thrive . While we can hope for provincial / municipal support programs ; we have to recognize that sometimes these things are simply not in place and may not apply to each small business . We will push and stand together but let’s begin with a hopeful grand reopening campaign! Let us work together to ask our city... to provide rewards for shopping locally when re- opening aka the awaking begins! I am faithful we will all be ok. I am hopeful in this idea and have been planning it for months before this unique crisis . Encouraging local support is always wise and even more so today . I know there are funds to help this and I have structured it as stamp reward program for shopping or using services with businesses that are on the list . I am hoping the city will put forth pool passes , Rec passes and ect . As a community we can offer gift cards or discounts also . When the time is right we can all meet up and develop this further .
