Small Time Theatre Calgary

The mandatory parent meeting is happening this Thursday, May 14th at 8pm via Zoom. If you’d like to attend please send an email to [email protected] and a link to the meeting will be sent to you. This meeting is mandatory if you’d like you or your children to be involved in one of our productions, so make sure to email us if you’d like to attend. This is your chance to hear about our plans for the 2020/2021 season. We’ll be going over the play selections, auditions, ...rehearsal schedules, cost, commitment, benefits, volunteer roles, etc. Attending this meeting doesn’t mean you’re automatically committed to participating, it’s just an opportunity for you to gather information and find out what we’re all about! We know there’s a lot of uncertainty right now and we’re committed to following all AHS guidelines around Covid-19. At the meeting we will discuss what happens in the best/worst case scenarios, and in the meantime have fun thinking about the possibilities. We can’t wait to meet with everyone!

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! As you’ve no doubt been reading, conferences, concerts, sporting events, and other large gatherings nationwide are being cancelled or postponed for precautionary reasons related to the novel coronavirus. On March 12, Alberta Health Services issued an advisory recommending the cancellation of gatherings of more than 250 people. In light of that announcement, and with respect for the health of our community, Small Time Theatre is postponing o...ur production of The Wizard of Oz until a later date, still to be confirmed. This includes performances scheduled for today (March 14th). We are disappointed to not share this incredible show but are hopeful we can look forward to another opportunity for these amazing performers to shine. Thank you so much for your support in purchasing tickets.
