For places who need coastal protection but want to protect the look of the natural coastline.
Photo by Pixabay on Pexels.com The everchanging marketplace is putting new products and price options out there for consumers. It is also creating new partnerships, new ways of doing business and new obstacles in maintaining current production levels for businesses of all sizes. While some are playing the stock market game, others are penny pinching and putting any extra savings away in hopes the rainy day that comes will not be a hurricane and flood. WWW.SMARTENERGYCOMMUNITIES.CA *THINKING GREEN IS MORE THAN BEING SOCIALLY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE. ... *MAKING ENERGY CONSCIOUS DECISIONS IS MORE THAN JUST WATCHING YOUR BUDGET. *BRINGING FUTURE GOALS TOGETHER WITH A GLOBAL/ENERGY CONSCIOUS MINDSET, EVEN THE SMALLEST COMMUNITY CAN BE MORE PRODUCTIVE, EFFICIENT, SAFE AND ATTRACTIVE.
This is a wonderful idea that can be done in a community of any size, shape or form. When thinking of ending hunger, think "what can we do right here?" and that's where it all begins. One seed, one plant at a time. Blessed be.
Does your area have successful Indigenous business leaders able to share some wisdom and new ideas? #firstnationspride #indigenous #business #marketing
This is happening in nearby Corner Brook folks! ( for those living in small Newfoundland outports on my friends list) If there are similar events happening elsewhere near YOUR small town please share! Together we can solve challenges and make BIG changes!

What are important investment areas do YOU the community of Trout River wish to see focused upon? What do you see as a future for this coastal town? Is this c...ommunity viable for future generations and if not, what different types of economic hubs, community infrastructure development, cultural integrity components, environmental protection features and so forth, do we need to foster and protect? Tuesday, Feb 11th is Town Council's Monthly Meeting at 7pm. If you wish to be a delegate and give your thoughts, please contact Town Office. Otherwise, all are welcome to come and listen to our discussions. Trout River is 500+ people strong - and together we can make this community better. It starts by getting involved; even just to attend a meeting and listen. Special thanks to everyone who took the time to attend our Public Meeting this afternoon.

The global marketplace means there is no such thing as "the middle of nowhere" or a "dead end community"
In light of today's strain on the planet's resources, small community budgets and physical capacity to deal with waste I wanted to share some intelligent and green ways to better your community, save money and save the planet! Biomass fuel in the form of briquettes - waste organic materials like grass clippings, tree branches, seaweed, fibres, etc. are heated/dried out to the point where they lose mass and moisture but retain their energy potential - is something even small c...ommunities can tap into with their waste management systems, community clean ups and regular property maintenance procedures. Composting as a group or individual also lowers your community's waste management fees thereby lowering your taxes. Support green changes in your community and put some green back in your wallet! National Geographic is on board with making real changes for the better https://www.nationalgeographic.org/funding-opportunities/
