We have some big news! We are officially reopening our Wednesday evening meetings to the public! We are following COVID-19 restrictions put in place to ensure the safety of our group members, facilitators and volunteers. Because of this we have a few changes to announce:... - NEW TIMES: We will be holding two separate groups on Wednesday evenings, Group A will be from 6-7pm, and Group B will be 7:30-8:30pm - LIMITED CAPACITY: Due to limited place available for physical distancing we will be operating at limited capacity, meaning our meetings will be first-come first-serve in each grouping. At this time we will not be holding or "reserving" any spots for participants. - MANDADOTORY MASKING: In accordance with Lethbridge Bylaw all participants will be required to wear a mask for the duration of the meeting. We have disposable masks here in office that we can provide to group members. - HEALTH QUESTIONAIRE: You will be asked a few questions upon entry to ensure the health and safety of all our staff and participants. If you are feeling unwell we encourage you to stay home and access SMART Recovery meetings on our website at smartrecovery.org - FREQUENT SANITIZATION: We are ensuring that our meeting space is properly sanitized and cleaned before each meeting. We encourage participants to sanitize and wash their hands frequently. We will still be offering workbooks and handouts to our participants. We are beyond excited to get back to in-person meetings and can't wait to see your masked faces! Please reach out if you have any questions.

There is a fourth response to the list of fight, flight, or freeze. It is to acquiesce, or to simply give up your power.
