"It came without packages, boxes or bags!" And he puzzled three hours, till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store." "Maybe Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more! -Dr. Seuss The Grinch learned in the classic Dr. Seuss story that he could not stop Christmas from coming. The Grinch took away every single physical tradition and symbol of the season he possibly could. Christmas certainly appeared different to the Who’s that morning. Luckily, the Who’s in the story knew something about Christmas. Yes they celebrated it with certain traditions that would be missed that year. But Christmas really is so much more than how we celebrate it. Christmas is what is celebrated. And that can’t be taken away. This is an important message every year, and especially so in the year that was 2020. Some of our familiar ways of celebrating may look different, but what we celebrate hasn’t changed. As we reflect on the past year, it warms out hearts to think about the people that have touched our lives: friends & clients, old and new.
