Good day to all! Hope everyone is happy and healthy and making the best of this quarantine Just a little PSA for the day. For those of you that have followed me for a couple seasons now, you know I have a hate on for car companies that cheap out on their lug nuts! There’s nothing worse than getting a flat tire, having to change that tire by yourself, only to realize that your socket won’t fit on the lugs.. now what?! You’re stuck somewhere you don’t want to be without the ...necessary tools to get you on your way. There’s an easy, inexpensive way to fix this issue. Swap your split/rusted/ugly chrome plated lugs with solid steel lugs! I recently made the change on our family SUV, a 2017 Equinox, and could not be happier. As you can see from the images, they were in rough shape. Splitting from the base, rusting, and pitting all over. Some were almost at the point where you could turn the chrome plated cap without the base of the nut moving... not very helpful in a stressful situation such as a flat. Contact the dealership where you bought the vehicle, or a registered parts supplier, with the make and model of your vehicle for more information and ditch those lousy plated lugs all together! Stay safe everyone

Hello all! Contactless appointments for the on rim tire change service has begun as of today, Friday March 27th. I will be accepting appointment requests now. Please see below for the detailed instructions and expectations for the contactless tire change service: 1. Only email transfer payments will be accepted, no cash payments. ... 2. I will message you to inform you I have arrived at your residence. 3. Please have the tires set out in front of their respective vehicles, with the wheel lock key on top of the stack of tires (applies only to vehicles with wheel locks) 4. Upon completion of the tire swap, I will message you once again to inform you that the service is complete and your winter tires are stacked in front of their respective vehicles. At this point I will return to my truck and await the email transfer payment. 5. Once payment is received, a smile and a wave from the truck and I’ll be on my way. I will be wearing proper PPE during the entire service. This includes an N95 face mask and nitrile surgical gloves. I am also equipped with hand sanitizer in my truck to be able to sanitize between appointments. I’m hoping that we can work together to follow these guidelines in order to keep each other safe and healthy. If you have any questions regarding this process, please send me a message and I’ll be happy to discuss it with you. Spring is almost here people, let’s do this, and let’s do it safely. Thanks, Nick
