Here is a follow up to our post yesterday. As stated in our post that he would do, Pastor Damon contacted AHS yesterday. He was told that because we were following the protocols laid out for us in AHS guidelines as well as all attendees were wearing a mask, and since the person who tested positive was not symptomatic at the time of the funeral, risk of transmission for most of those who attended the funeral a week ago is very low. We do ask those who attended to be monitoring yourself for symptoms in the next few days and to stay home as always if you are feeling unwell. AHS instructed Pastor Damon that he would not be a close contact and that he and his family do not need to isolate. Sunday service will be held in person and online tomorrow as usual, with health protocols in place as always.

We have been informed this afternoon that there was someone at the funeral held at our church this past Saturday who tested positive with Covid-19 today. Out of an abundance of caution we are cancelling youth group tonight and clothes closet tomorrow. We are unaware of anyone from our community who attended the funeral showing any symptoms. Pastor Damon will be in contact with AHS for best next steps.
