Hello Everyone!! Fiona Milne has a wonderful project idea that she would like us all to share. The project is called :Christmas Cards to Our Deployed Troops Fiona has 100+ Christmas Cards, already addressed, that she will bring to the Legion on Friday, (Nov. 27). ... She would like us all to write a short letter of thanks for their service and wish them a Merry Christmas from Smithers. (Please bring your own pen to use. ) Our Troops are travelling around the world, away from their families and loved ones, they could use a little love and support from us. Fiona will pick the Christmas Cards up on Saturday, (Nov 28) and get them to the mail! Please come down to the Legion on Friday evening, have a meal or just a drink and fill out a few cards. It’s not much to give in return for what they do for us!! If you can not come down and fill out a card, please share this post, all are welcome. We do follow the COVID-19 protocols and guidelines for everyone’s safety.
