Due to weather and roads conditions we have decided to remain closed tomorrow Boxing Day. We were supposed to be open from 9-2 but with the amount of snow we’ve gotten we haven’t had plows out much for the holiday and our parking lot has not been plowed either and can’t be plowed until tomorrow at the earliest. Plus they are still calling for freezing rain. So we’ve decided to remain closed through tomorrow. We reopen December 27th 2020 9-6.

LOCKDOWN UPDATE We’ve spoken to ECG and they’ve agreed to let us remain open for a little while longer as we have really good safety measures in place to ensure the health and safety of everybody. Cedar Point will not be entering a complete lockdown and businesses will remain open a while longer with these safety measures still in place. ... This decision can be changed on any given day if the situation changes and we do have a delivery system still in place if that should happen. As always message us or call us to get an update on the situation if you are unsure before coming out. Stay safe, stay healthy and Happy Holidays! We are excited to keep seeing your lovely faces (well half of them anyways lol) in store over the next little bit!

PSA: These seem to be ever so popular questions this morning: Q: Will you guys be open today with the incoming storm? A: Yes. The only severe weather we ever close for is snow/ice storms. ... Q: Is your debit machine working today? A: Yes. It was 5 minutes ago I can’t promise it will still be working in 5 hours from now or even 5 minutes from now or even by the time we end this phone call. However that being said we will be open from 9-4 today but due to the inclement weather expected throughout the day CASH IS A GOOD IDEA! We know, nobody carries cash during the pandemic, a lot of places don’t accept cash anymore and if it were an option for us believe us we’d turn it down too but we operate in a very remote location where we are lucky to even get internet services which means a little cloud can put out our satellite. This means we can’t refuse cash because it may be our only method of payment accepted during storms like this. If you have to call us asking if our debit machine is working today chances are you’ve experienced it NOT working before which means you should know it’s a safer idea to just bring cash if you’re unsure! When the machine goes out EVERYTHING stops working. Wifi, debit, credit, all of it. It does not matter what type of card you use if the MACHINE is not working NOTHING is working. BRING CASH TODAY PLEASE

Update: for those in the barrie area who have been recently added to the restricted no access list, we had an employee offer to do deliveries to Barrie ONCE a week. If you are in Barrie and can no longer access our reserve message us to arrange a delivery or text 705-220-1764 Delivery fee to barrie area will be $20. ... Once a week only unless another employee has to pass through for other reasons. VALID FOR BARRIE HOTSPOT RESIDENTS ONLY!!! Delivery will not be possible for any other areas at this time. We are adjusting to this second wave as we have to. Delivery may be available to other areas as more closures happen. But please consider stocking up more than usual in case this does happen.

ATTENTION Our security employee called in today. Other 2 employees are not available. And the other was supposed to be working the store. We are not supposed to operate without 2 employees, which means the 1 will have to try to run everything from outside or try to do both jobs at once.... Please remember there is 1 entry and 1 exit door. If there is a blocker at the entry door that says please wait, stand at the next available pylon placed 6.5 feet apart

Yes we are still open! Many reports coming in from customers saying that the sign at the gate says we are closed .. WE ARE OPEN Customer told us google said we are closed .. issue should be fixed .. WE ARE OPEN ... Few customers told us a certain ECG Employee told them all smoke shops are closed .. WE ARE OPEN We’ve been made aware there will be a $2 surcharge to pass the gate starting soon, we are STILL OPEN. Until the end of July we are offering that Entry $2 rebate on a minimum purchase of 2 cartons. After July 31st minimum purchase for rebate will be 6 cartons. We are also still offering delivery services and because of this minor inconvenience to come and see us we’ve waived the delivery fees locally. If you are not on the list below we cannot offer delivery to you anymore due to hour changes coming soon, UNLESS an employee is driving near or through your area for other reasons, in which case a delivery charge will still apply for non locals but it will only be $15 REGARDLESS of where you are whether it’s Wasaga Beach, Barrie or Newmarket it’s all $15 and that’s only IF a driver happens to be coming your way for other reasons. As some of you have heard from the ECG at the border, they will be implementing a surcharge as of next week to get in. This surcharge is $2 per person in the vehicle, which means if you bring your whole family of 4 down you’ll be charged $8 to get in. Please make your trips minimal. Don’t bring your kids for a joy ride, don’t bring your husband or wife so you’re not lonely, please just try to bring yourself and shop for EVERYBODY. When the fees begin we will be offering a S...tock Up Rebate. Which just means if you buy 6 or more cartons you will receive ONE entry fee back. So for 6 cartons your total would be $268 instead of $270 because we will refund you that $2 you paid to get in to see us. This offer is only valid for those who stock up though, it will not apply to those to make a trip out here every 3-4 days to pick up 1-2 more cartons. This is there way of deterring people from entering the reserve because they know a lot of people won’t pay it but we are trying to make up for that if you stock up. This rebate will only cover ONE entry fee, meaning if you AND your husband come and you pay $4 to get in we are only covering the cost of one of you for $2. Someone messaged us and asked: Why are you guys closed on Sundays but the other shop isn’t Truth is, I’m not sure what the other shop was told from the ECG but I know when we got approval to reopen we had to follow extremely high safety measures. For us this meant operating on 50% business hours than what is normal for us, which means if we were normally open for 10 hours we could only open for 5 hours if we were open for 8 hours we could only open for 4 hours. Booking Tuesday local deliveries now. Next day for deliveries local is Saturday. I’m full tomorrow for out of town deliveries and everything is packed so no changes can be made to orders now.

Storm is upon us, clouds are black across the bay Security will be moved inside at the door, we will still only allow 2 customers inside at the counter at 6ft apart And 1 customer to wait at the door under the roof to stay dry. If you see someone at the door wait until they leave or you are flagged to come in!

Our sincerest apologies to those who have been to the store this morning already. Our employee is in a terrible mood and is acting a little childish and for that we are extremely sorry that you had to see him that way. Situation is being dealt with! On another side note, with thunder storms being called for today we may have to run things a little bit differently. Usually security would sit outside and you wait at the 2 metre distanced pylons but with thunderstorms security may have to move inside and we will have to adjust to a new waiting system perhaps or you could utilize the delivery service instead to avoid waiting in rain to come inside!

IMPORTANT CHANGE: Due to the recent positive COVID19 cases found in the Midland area we have to implement new screening practices before you enter the store. Before the rule was face masks were recommended but now the Town of Midland has made it a bylaw to wear a mask or covering in public spaces and now our ECG has made it a requirement that you MUST wear a mask or face covering when entering the Rez. ... This being said now we have to be EXTRA careful which means more screening questions. When you come to our store, you will be asked the following questions: Whats your name? Whats your phone number? Where do you live FULL TIME? Where did you just come from? Have you experienced a persistent cough in the last 48 hours? Have you experienced a growing fever in the last 48 hours? Have you experienced a sore throat in the last 48 hours? Have you experienced persistent sneezing in the last 48 hours? Have you come into contact with somebody who tested positive in the last 30 days? Have you come into contact with somebody who presents any of these symptoms in the last 30 days? If you do not answer ALL of the questions you will not be allowed in the store you will be asked to leave immediately. We have to be extremely careful now because if these cases show up on the reserve we get put on lock down level 6, nobody gets in OR out! Please respect social distancing guidelines and SELF-ISOLATE if you experience ANY of these symptoms, even if it might just be a smoker's cough please keep us safe!
