And that’s a wrap! I am officially closed until further notice, as I prepare to bring this baby into this world. Due to his heart condition, I unfortunately cannot provide a reopening date or even estimate my return. This is extremely bittersweet as I am truly a workaholic and I feel oddly selfish taking time for myself when sugaring has always been a release for me and never felt like work. ... Today the sugar room will become the nursery. I’m sad to see it go, but extremely excited to design a new space for us all. Breast wishes, Morgan

**REMINDER** CLOSING MARCH 31 I am getting larger by the day, my due date is getting closer and closer. Very limited appointments available. No exceptions will be made after this day as the sugar room will be transformed into the nursery. I’m sad to say goodbye for a while but also excited because that means baby bear is coming! ... This week is Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) Awareness Week 1 in 100 children born will have a CHD and 1 in 4 will require surgery prior to age 5 to survive and live a close to normal life. At 21 weeks we found out that Baby Bouvette has a major heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). He will require 3 surgeries by age 3, with the first being within his first week of life. This broke our souls when we first found out, but the Childrens Cardiac Foundation at... HSC has provided us more information and resources than we could have imagined existed. So far we know this is not genetic, but we also know we may never know a cause as we could never narrow down the list to identify it. We cannot change what has already happened, so we just have to move forward, be as educated as possible, and prepare for this baby boy the best that we can. I share this here as well as my personal page, as all of my clients have become very close to me. This will directly affect my return to sugaring and ultimately leave my reopening date as unknown for now. At this time, all we ask is for your love, support, thoughts, and prayers. This is 20 weeks. Baby is healthy, but I’m falling apart. Behind this smile is discomfort. Early onset pelvic symphysis. An umbilical hernia. Exhaustion. ... I’m jealous of all the women who get to grow with their child with little to no discomfort. I can be incredibly thankful that I didn’t have morning sickness. I love having the belly and the attention that comes with it but it most days I’m just mad about how I feel. I am so dissociated with the fact that there is an actual human in there. I hate that I said this out loud. Knowing that there are so many woman that only want to be where I am; pregnant, 20 weeks pregnant, uncomfortable. They’d give anything to be where I’m at. But this is my experience, and my perspective. And I’m mad I’m not enjoying this like I thought I would. I did not anticipate the difficulties. What to expect, when you’re expecting This was not it.

Hi everyone! I have had some new followers lately and thought I should reintroduce myself. My name is Morgan Winterhalt, and I’m the owner/technician of Smooth Body Sugaring. I did my certification through @sugarsmac just over 4 years ago. I work from my home... I have a small dog (molly) who will lick you to death and a cat (Angora) who is also a licker, but is also a lunatic I choose not to ‘struggle’ with anxiety/depression but to strive with it. But with that, I do struggle with being publicly vulnerable so you may notice I don’t post often or go through spurts of posts and then silence again as I take@time to convince myself that What I have to say is important and valuable. Day by Day it gets easier. I work full time as an Expedited Asset Planner at Bison Transport, so that is why I only have evenings and weekends available. I have exciting news for a new service available October 1st. Can you guess what it is? 3 things about me: I love ice cream I love nachos I love burgers So basically I just love food. When I was growing up I wanted to be a doctor, specifically a surgeon. I quickly learned I wasn’t interested in school but was still heavily interested in the human body and I still am. I am a damn sponge when it comes to all things human body. This allows me to be the best I can be (I believe) at sugaring the female anatomy.
