Hello Everyone! It has been a long time and we hope all our members are doing well and staying safe! It has been a tumultuous year and our society, like most student societies at Saint Mary's University has faced its fare share of challenges coping with online operations. However, with SMUSA's new set of guidelines for society operations, we are finally ready to have our elections and get back on track with the biggest events at the university, giving not only students from ...Bangladesh but also the entire Saint Mary's community a chance to experience the colors of Bengal. The election will be facilitated by SMUSA, with SMUSA VP Academics Abigayle Winters acting as the CRO. The nomination form for Presidency is attached to this post and the last day to submit a nomination is Friday November 27, 2020. This year brings many new opportunities, including amending the society constitution to contain a January to December term for the executive team as well as opportunities to put together events never seen before. Being a part of the executive team truly is an experience matched by no other. Let's not forget how we acquired this language, how lucky we are to have this language as our mother tongue and who gave up their precious lives to gift this language to us!
