Greetings Brothers and Sisters, Hope everyone is staying safe, we have finalized the December Online Zoom meeting date. **NOTICE OF CHANGE TO MEETING FORMAT**... Due to the high numbers of COVID-19 cases and Alberta Health Services restrictions, we will not be able to hold in-person meetings. To avoid the long interruption in meetings that happened during the first wave, we will be moving all meetings to an online format using ZOOM. The SMART International Training Institute will be helping with the transition. These meeting will require registration to be emailed to each member that is planning on attending. To register, you will need to provide valid email address and your IA# (if you do not know your IA# please email [email protected] or [email protected]) When holding meetings with an online format, we will only have 1 meeting per month. These meetings will be open to all current members. The December meeting will be held on Thursday December 17th, 2020 at 7:30pm. Registration link for Decembers Membership meeting http://b.link/g6wz6 You must register before December 15th, 2020 **NOTICE OF SPECIAL CALLED MEETING** There we be a special called ZOOM meeting held Tuesday January 7th, 2021 starting at 7:00pm this meeting is to go over proposed changes to the collective agreement for both the Sheet Metal and Sheeter Decker Cladder Construction Agreements. This meeting will be held online and will require members to register. **Please check the Website and the Facebook page for the link to register this should been posted soon** You must register before January 1st, 2020 With the uncertainty of COVID-19 and restrictions changing weekly, we will be posting meeting dates and registration links on the website and Facebook.

I spoke with the international and I guess to switch the meetings to an online format I will first have to mail out a notice at least 15 days before the meeting to ensure That everyone is informed and has a chance to register. So we will have to cancel the Calgary and Edmonton meetings for November. The December meeting will be online and I will send out the notice this week. The notice will also include the date and time for the special called information meeting, covering ...the proposed changes to the agreement. We will be having special called meetings early December to go over the proposed changes to the agreement. I will be mailing out notice with the dates as well as posting online. This will also have to be an online meeting so like the Edmonton and Calgary meets this month there will be a registration process. Letter should be in the mail this week. Please see latest post Unfortunately, with the new restrictions that AHS has put in place, we will have to cancel the Edmonton November 17 meeting and Calgary November 19 meeting. Due to the uncertainty of when restrictions will be lifted, we will move the meetings to an online format. These meetings will be held on November 24 and 26 with a start time of 7:30 PM and will not be location-specific; but please only register for one of the two dates. To ensure only members in ...good standing attend, you will be required to register beforehand. Registration will require you to provide your full name, email, and date you will attend. Please click the registration link below. We also ask that if possible, try and join the meeting around 15 to 30 minutes early, this will help us sort out any technical issues if they arise.
