Lennox and Fahrhall Home Comfort Bring the Love to Locals Donating Furnace In participation with Lennox’s corporate social responsibility program, Feel The Love, Fahrhall Home Comfort donated a furnace, as well as installation, to a local household in need of the HVAC equipment. Windsor Family Donates for Grieving Parents A Windsor family has turned their grief over their stillborn daughter into helping other local families in similar situations in order to have more time to say goodbye. Caitlin Collins David and Adam David learned of the CuddleCot, a refrigerated baby bed that allows the family more time to bond, grieve and say goodbye, and raised the $6,000 to purchase one for Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation. Windsor Pizza Club Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island gathered at Antonino's Original Pizza on Howard to launch the Windsor Pizza Club, a marketing partnership program including 8 local pizza shops to help celebrate our world famous Windsor-style pizza to locals and visitors alike. Funded in part by the Canadian Heritage Fund, the Windsor Pizza Club is a membership based program developed to share the history of Windsor-style pizza, and its importance in the Windsor culinary scene. Family Respite Services Ground Breaking Family Respite Services (FRS) Windsor/Essex broke ground for the new respite home at 4400 Howard Ave. and unveiled $1 Million Dollars in community partners who are getting involved and investing in this invaluable respite home for some of the most vulnerable children in our community. Family Respite Services still needs $500,000.00 to make this dream home a reality. Family Respite has zero government funding for this project, so community participation is crucial. Project HOPE Windsor Essex Project HOPE Windsor Essex held the grand opening of the Harrow Community Pantry located next to the Harrow Arena. The Harrow Community Pantry is a 100 square foot structure that houses a refrigerator and shelving for perishable and non- perishable goods, as well as toiletries and personal items (essentials). The Pantry will be accessible 24/7 to the community, monitored and maintained by the Directors and volunteers of Project HOPE Windsor Essex.
